Of course, the Olympics have now been postponed until August 2021, and the Jumpman Brand is now stuck with celebratory sneakers like the Air Jordan 3 “Tokyo”, and the reissue of the Metallic Silver Air Jordan 1 from 2001’s “Japan Pack”. But we knew early on that that Silver drop wouldn’t be a solo release, with last year’s reports focusing around the return of the pack’s Midnight Navy drop, too.
19 years dormant, Air Max 270 pair returns with most of the same details as its 2001 counterpart. As one of the first OGs to feature navy coloring, the pair leads with its signature, dressing it up in a robust nubuck material. Tumbled leathers lie underneath in white, while the Swoosh over top the profile imbues luxury through a polished metallic silver. Matching Wings logos sit in the form of emblems above while “Nike Air” takes seat on the tongue in complement.
