The Museum of The Future is a very famous landmark in Dubai that is dedicated to innovative and futuristic ideologies. It is located in the financial district of Dubai, UAE. The building has a torus shape with expansive windows in the form of amazing poems written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler, vice president, and prime minister of Dubai. The Museum Of Future was inaugurated on 22nd February 2022 because it is a palindrome date by the Dubai Future Foundation.
The building is an architectural and engineering marvel that beautifully spans both the past and the future by applying futuristic advanced technology to all kinds of traditional art forms. The poetry that speaks Arabic and has been written by the ruler of Dubai was calligraphed by Mattar Bin Lahej.

The History
On 4th March 2015, Mohammed Bin Al Maktoum, the ruler, vice president, and prime minister of Dubai announced the establishment of The Museum Of The Future after its showcase in February during the World Government Summit.
Then on 7th February 2016, the ruler inaugurated the museum during the World Government Summit 2016. On 24th April 2016 the Dubai Future Foundation was launched and under its structure came The Museum Of The Future.
The museum was temporarily opened at Madinat Jumeirah during the World Government Summit on 10th February 2017 and 9th February 2018. The exhibitions inside the museum focus on promoting technological development and innovation, especially in the sector of not only robotics but also artificial intelligence. Then finally, on 22nd February 2022, The Museum Of The Future was officially opened to the public.
The Many Experiences and Exhibits
The Museum of The Future is built to show you the future of 2071. This museum has 7 floors in total where 5 floors are dedicated to exhibits based on many different themes. A visitor’s journey starts at the fifth floor and it takes the guests down floor by floor.
- Orbital Space Station Hope (OSS): this is on the fifth floor and it focuses on life in space in the year 2071 by exploring how space traveling will be accessible and how it can enable humans to address different challenges.
- The HEAL Institute: This is on the fourth floor and this floor highlights the ecology and biodiversity of the future.
- Al Waha: This is on the third floor and it stands for the oasis. Here visitors can experience different therapies to connect with their senses.
- Tomorrow, today: This is the second floor and highlights the advanced technology and innovative concepts.
- Future Heroes: This is the first floor and it is dedicated to children under the age of 10 years and offers all sorts of interactive activities and reward-based challenges to encourage collaboration with creativity.
