Basically, as with “bio bikes”, it is important to differentiate between full suspension (fully) and hardtail mountain bikes . Hardtails have a suspension fork but no damper in the frame. They are mainly used in cross-country and as trail bikes. However, due to the lack of damping, a hardtail needs a little more ability to go downhill quickly.
