Although reappearing in its original ("OG") form with the help of Travis Scott, the Air Jordan 1 Low will end in 2021 in its modern style. Before the colder months of this year, this style appeared with non-standard, more durable materials. Similar to the past iterations of Michael Jordan's first signature sneaker (and the almost identical Nike Dunk Low), this new pair of shoes features a classic "white" sole and "black" overlay combination. However, both of these components are made of hard canvas, ensuring more protection of the elements than the standard synthetic leather material of the model. The rich red contrast runs through the stitching of the sneaker and the "Wings" logo at the bottom heel. The aforementioned coarse cloth on the upper has a pattern similar to carbon fiber, which matches the carbon fiber sheet in the center of the outsole, as part of the product "SE" ("Special Edition") and "practical" quality.
