Throughout 2021, in celebration of Nike's 25th anniversary, the Nike Air More Uptempo features some of the most iconic colorways in its catalog. While this landmark moment has come and gone, the 1996 Nike basketball classic didn't return to the archives, but instead came in playful styles like the new "copy/paste." Also expected to include popular silhouettes under the Nike Sportswear banner, the upcoming collection will see the Swoosh copy some of the most used graphics and paste them onto Scott Pippen-related silhouettes. The Air More Uptempo retains all the signature details - especially the spherical "Air" text on the profile - but it complements it with a non-standard swoosh logo in different sizes. The sock liners also have layered branding, and the "copy/paste" theme is more pronounced on the insoles because of the "glitch" application. The rest of the shoe indulges in traditional matte materials, with most of the upper indulging in a clean "iron grey" hue; the translucent outsole opts for a blue "anthracite" hue, adding another fresh spin to the Air Max offspring.
