The UAN system has revolutionized the way employees access and oversee their provident fund accounts. To gain access to the various services on the EPFO portal, all employees are required to activate their Universal Account Numbers (UAN). To do this, employees should have their UAN, Member ID, Aadhaar Number, and PAN readily available.

 

Activating the UAN involves the following steps:

 

Visit the EPFO online portal.

Navigate to the 'Sign in' section and select 'Activate UAN'.

On the subsequent page, enter your UAN, Member ID, Aadhaar Number, and PAN card details.

Provide additional personal information like name, date of birth, email address, mobile number, and captcha code.

Click on 'Get Authorization PIN' after accurately filling in the information.

An authorization PIN will be sent to your registered mobile number. Input this PIN on the next screen.

Before proceeding, ensure you agree to the terms and conditions by checking 'I Agree'. Then, validate the OTP and activate the UAN.
